Naisier Guanipa
About
Naisier is dedicated to helping clients experience real, lasting change through a therapy process that feels collaborative and judgment-free. His approach is relational and strengths-based — he meets clients where they are, helping them build resilience and move toward their goals at their own pace.
Naisier works with individuals, couples, and families, and has particular experience supporting people through trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and spirituality. He also holds a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy and brings a special interest in men's issues to his work.
As a quadrilingual immigrant himself (in addition to English, he speaks Dutch and Papiamento), Naisier brings genuine cultural humility to the therapy room and values the unique background each client brings with them.
In sessions, he draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based approaches — always tailoring the work to fit the client in front of him rather than a one-size-fits-all model.
